The artistry of the created world beckons us to look up, look closely, be dazzled, experience awe. And then—if one pays close attention —the still, quiet knowing asks for us to respond. My response to the magnificent is to create.

I create to remember, and to call out the truth that is in plain sight before us-displayed in the complex, the majestic and the mysterious.

Every part of this work- from design themes to titles of glazes-it all connects to our life raising a family immersed in faith, woods, fields, and lakes, fraught with critters, adventure, and loads of wonder. This work is my heart-response to all the beauty.
