Rusticated Red Glaze Sample

This unique looking glaze effect is produced when the tile is pre-glazed in black, then wiped back to reveal the clean raised surface of a tile, outlined by the black that remains in the crevices of the design.  A second glaze is applied in  a Plum Red Glaze.  The effect is an articulated design in an earthy gloss with every divot, line and crack also displayed.  This coloring would be perfect in any rustic, earthy environment. The neutral hue coordinates beautifully with various earth tones. This is a very beautiful, warm color.

Because of extra time and materials the price on this glaze is slightly increased.
